Export your trade history from CommSec and import it into FolioTrack.

Export from CommSec

In CommSec go to My Portfolio → Transactions tab → Download button → CSV. Make sure you select the Transactions CSV — not the Holdings CSV. Set the date range to include your full history.

Upload to FolioTrack

Go to Import from your dashboard, choose “CommSec” from the broker dropdown, then drag and drop your CSV (or click to browse). Review the parsed transactions on the next screen — deselect any rows you don’t want — then confirm to import.

How it works

  • PII columns (HINs, names, account numbers) are dropped during parsing, before anything is saved.
  • You review every transaction before anything is imported.
  • Existing holdings are not overwritten — only new ones are created.
  • Smart deduplication active — already-recorded transactions are skipped automatically.
  • Always keep your original CSV as a backup.
